Mike Should Have Danced To Ginuwine's Track "Pony" One Last Time

The Ginuwine track "Pony" was something of a staple of the Magic Mike trilogy. It was a key song in Mike's strip routine, and while the song does appear in Magic Mike's Last Dance, he doesn't dance to it. While this was an important moment of character development, as it showed that Channing Tatum's character has well and truly turned his back on erotic dancing, many viewers felt that Mike having his team dance to it instead meant that the third Magic Mike movie was missing a potentially iconic moment.

"Pony" doesn't play nearly as significant a role in Magic Mike's Last Dance as it did in Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL. Having Mike dance to the 1996 hit one last time, even if it wasn't on stage and was instead — for example — while he was alone and in a less provocative way, would have been a fitting send-off nod for fans of the franchise.
