Why can't I log into my Paylocity account? ›

Click "Help" at the top right of your login screen. Choose "Forgot Company ID" and follow the prompts. If you're still having trouble logging in, please contact your employer's HR team—even if you aren't employed there anymore.

There may be several reasons for that: An outage that hasn't been communicated yet via the Paylocity status page. Some local issues with a small group of accounts on the service side. Technical issues on your side, or problems with your software or ISP.

For smaller businesses or those with simple payroll and HR needs, Paylocity's vast array of features can be overwhelming. The advanced platform caters to more challenging requirements and takes some time to learn — there is no quick and easy startup.

Click the "Forgot Password" link located under the "Sign In" button. Enter your username in the "Username" field. Click the "Continue" button.

You have the option to choose "Help" or forgot Password. If you cannot remember the Company ID or your Username, click "Help." STEP 2: After clicking on "Help," it will take you to this screen. This can help you recover the Username, Company ID, and/or reset your Password.

If you attempt to log into your account with the incorrect password more than 5 times, the system will automatically lock you out as a safety precaution. We will send an email directly to your login email address with a link to unlock your account: By clicking on the link in that email, you can unlock your account.

Similarly, end-user's with Paylocity Integrations can have multiple sub-company instances, each with a different Company ID for their API access. This means that each Paylocity company will need to be connected as separate linked accounts.

Is Paylocity hard to use? ›

Paylocity typically charges on a per employee per month (PEPM) basis, with subscriptions ranging from $22 to 32, depending on company size and included modules. Additionally, there is usually a one-time implementation fee, typically around 10-20% of the annual software fees.
